( The course of instruction extends over thrt'B years, each consisting of three terms. A Certificate- of Proficiency is granted to students who have passed the examination at the end of each year. (Attendance at the first year's lectures is not necessary tor thoae students who already possess sufficient knowledge of the subject to proceed ■ with the second year's work). Lei-lures aro given in the following subjects: — Rudiments of Music, Harmony, Counterpoint, History of Music, Form, in Music, Ear Training, Composition, and Orchestration. . In addition to the daily lectures, Evening C'iafsses in the above subjects are held on Wednesday from 7 to fi p.m., and on Tuesday and Friday, from 6.45 to 7.45 p.m. A Class to meet the requirements of School Teachers for Certificates C. and D. is bold on Monday from 4 to 5 p.m., and on Saturday from 11 a.m. to 12 noon.
