A NOTABLE GATHERING.

The Peace Society held a notable gathering in tho Guildhall. Mr Andrew Carnegie, who was present, paid a warm tribute to the late King Edward, his references being received with oheers. Sir William Mathers proposed that the Society present a bust of the late King to tho Temple of Peace at The Hague.
