QUEEN ALEXANDRA.
Queen Alexandra gave an audience to Mr Roosevelt, Lord Stratbcona, and Sir George Reid. Speaking to Sir George Reid, the Queen expressed, in most touching terms, her gratitude for tho loyal devotion shown to the Crown during King Edward's reign, and to his memory, and also tor tho sympathy extended to her by thj Australian people.
