Bates s weather eumnian.- and forecast, issued at Wellington β-t 5 p.m. yceterday:— Hiah prc&euro has continued every.whore. and the weather, though fine, has been changeable ou the whole. Rain has fallen on the \Vost Coast and in the extremes north and south, moderate to strong westerly winds have prevailed, but a ga.o was experienced in Foveaus Strait on Monday night. Present indications are for a falling barometer everywhere shortly, winds changing to easterly m the far north, and backing to northeny olsewEere. Unsettled weather rney be expected in the far north and southern districts, and fair weather, but increasing cliudiness, elsewhere soon.
