United Press Association—By Electrio Telegraph—Copyright. WHITEHAVEN RELIEF FUND. LONDON; May 22. The Whitehaven colliery relief fund has reached £12,500. THE PARIS SENSATION. PARIS, May 22. The head of Sister Candide _ charitable institutions has committed suicide. She left papers accusing Sister Candide of embezzlement. The "Matin" states that Sister Candide's assets amount to £160,000, and ber liabilities to double that amount. There is evidence of unbusinesslike conduct in the paying away of large sums, without askiug for receipts. A fresh claim has been made against Sister Candide for £250.000, obtained by her for the construction of a sanatorium. A GENEROUS BEQUEST. (Received May 23rd, 10.40 p.m.) NEW YORK, M_y 23. The late Mr Isaac Wyman, a wealthy landowner, bequeathed 10,000,000 dollars to Princeton University.
A BOUNDARY SETTLEMENT. The Hon. J. Bryce and Mr Knox have signed a treaty defining the boundary through Passamquoddy Bay (_n inlet of the Bay of Fundy between New Brunswick, Canada and Maine, U.S.A.) and Grand Manan Channel.
