Tie new grountta consist of three courts— there is room left for a fourth—and a pavilion, which contains and well-fitted dressing rooni3 for ladies and gentlemen, and spacious tea. rooms fitted with all oonveni, cnces. Threo of the courts are now fit for play, and the club's committee is delating all its energy to getting the grounds in order for opening day, Wednesday ne::t. The whole of the work is being done by the students themselves. The three courts tire particularly fine, l»tk lb© crown und the surface being good; what is more, there is plenty of room, 20 feet between back line to fence, and 14 feet between the courts. The position of the courts is convenient, though they may prove a trifle windy. It is expected that having such courts a« there to pay on tho interest of students in the game will rerh'e very quickly. The possession of these courts is important U> the Co.lego. as it ha* held tbo UniversitjTournament Cup for the past threo yeeni, and the increased facilities for play shoti'3 tend to enable its representatives to retain i':.
