FREEMASONS' TRIBUTE.
The United Grand Lodge of English Freemasons, in an i address to tho King, expressed their profound sympathy, and eulogised his father's work on belialf of Freemasonry. They also sent an address ot sympathy to tho QueenMother, and condolences to the Grand Master, the Duke of Connaught, who was asked to lay the addrees at the foot of the Throne.
Queen' Alexandra has written to Mr Enoch Edwards, a Labour M.P., statiruj that she was much touched by his speech supporting the address of condolence in the Houflo of Commons,' and expressing her sincero thanks for , hit kind words. , ,
Owing to the.Continental influx, all the trains for Calais and Dover havo run in duplicate since Monday.
Captain Phyllips, N.S.W. Lancers, Captain Pounds, Australian Light Horse, Lieut. Fox, K.S.W. Artillery, and two non-commissioned officers, represented tho Australian forces at tho Horse Guards' Parade.
The St. John Ambulanco attendants treated 614 cases, mostly fainting women. Twenty were taken to the hospital. ; Work was suspended for four hours in the Johannesburg mines during tho time of tho funeral.,
