LADIES' HOCKEY.

The Canterbury Ladies' Hockey Association comjfciitions were continued on Saturday, after being postponed for a fortnight on account of the death i>l the King. Results are as follow: — SENIORS. Kotiro beat Digby's by 4 goals io nil. The first spell was very even, only one goal being scored, but in the second spell the Kotiro team broke away and scored three more goals in quick succession. The scorers were Misses McGregor (1), P. Rhodes (1), and Handisides (2). Tuahine boat Te Rangitira by 3 goals to 2, after a close game. The match between the Waihom (Doyleston) ;:nd Dntinnndel ' teams, played at Dunsandel, provided a fast game. Doyleston, playing with go.id combination, succeeded iv defeating tho home eleven by 2 goiils to nil. Misses J. McMillan, L. Scott and A. Rennie for Doyleston, and Misses L. Gpmmell, B. NWlove and M. Eoa.g for Dunsandel were conspicuous by their good play. Mr A. H. Jones acted as referre. 0!d Girls defeated Christchurcli Vv 5 goals to nil. JUNIORS. Digby's A beat Nga Hine • by 3 goals, all scored by Miss K. Lummis, to nil.. Digby's B beat Digbv's C by 1 goal, scored by Miss M. Hnlliday. to nil. Gilbv's A beat Tekaha by 3 goals to nil. Old Girls, playing three short, were defeated by Gilby's B by 5 goals to Tuahine defeated St. Luke's by 2 goals to nil. Te Rangatira defaulted to Aorantp.
