The annual conference of Oddfellows at Southampton , di-cussed the establishment of a solveuey insurance fund, aiming at raising the deficiency of lod_es to a 90 pea- cent, standard of solvency. It was estimated that a levy of a penny in the pound would raise £10,000 towards a reserve fund. Tho suggestion is to be submitted'again at the next conference:
