THE MONEY MARKET. The Bank ratb is 4 per cent. Three montlis' btlis 3 3-16 per cent., as compared with 3 13-16 per cent, last week; short loans 33 per cent., compared with 3j* per cent, last week. The Paris rate for three months' bills is 2£ per cent., Berlin 3 per cent. COLONIAL AND OTHER PRODUCE. Wheat—The markets are very quiet. American is weak owing to the favourable weather and the poor demand. There is a probability oi large reserves of old whoai being carried lorward to the new season. Chicago May option 110 i cents to 112 i, July 1034 to 10o£. Cargoes are firmly held. Adelaide -md Victorian steamers March shipments are quoted at 30s, sellers 3d. Steamers' parcels April 38s 6d, Australian on the spot dull 41s Gd. ■Flour —The market is quiet, March and April shipments being pressed for sale.- Glasgow quotations are -Us 3d, 29s 6d landed, but there are no buyers. Butter—Tho market i3 a shade easier, owing to the weakness of Danish, which is at 1245-1265,. Australian 116-120, New' Zealand 1225, occasionally 1245, Cheese —New Zealand cheese >s easier at GOs to 61s 6d, owing to the arrival of the Kaipara's shipment,, which is fetching about 2s less. Sugar—German I4s sd, first marks 16s 7d. Wool—At Bradford,- merino and fin© crossbreds are firm. Low crosshreds are easier. • Common sixties 27d, isuper 28d. METALS.
