MARSHLAND CLUB.
The annual • meeting of the Marshland Club was held on Friday night. There was a good attendance, and the president, Mr W. J. Walter, was in the chair. Tha annual report stated thit the club was in a flourishing condition. The balance-sheet showed a credit balance of 15s 9d: Eight new members were elected. The following officers were elected: —President, Mr W. J. Walter; vice-president, Mr Joseph Piekarski; captain, Mr T. Colema-i; vice-captain, Mr James Faults; secretary and treasurer, Mr J. R. Walter; committee, Messrs John Piekarski, F. J. Delamain, R. Cox, H. Wilson, and M. Delamain; selactioa committee, captain, vice-captain, and F. J. Delamain. The opening day was fixed for next Saturday.
