PAYMENT OF MEMBERS
LONDON, April 15. In the House of Commons discussion on Mr J. Taylor's resolution iv favour of restoring to trades unions the right to levy for the payment of Commoners ~'was adjourned, after Sir William Snowdon Robson, Solicitor-General, had - emphasised the controversial character "of the subject, and suggested as an ' ultimate solution State payment for all members of the House of Commons.
