ACCIDENT TO THE WAKATIPU.
LAUNCESTON, April 17,
The steamer Wakatipu, en route to Melbourne with a full Cargo, grounded opposite Kelso jetty, near the entrance to the river Tamar, through failure to answer her helm. There is no danger, but the cargo will have to be lightered before she can be got off; The work is now proceeding. The passengers were safely transferred to a river ster-mer.
