BRITISH CONSULATE ABANDONED
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. PEKIN, April 15. Owing to the officials at Hunan cornering the rice supply, there has been serious rioting at Changsha. The Wesleyan and two other missions were destroyed, and the British Consulate and Imperial Maritime Customs Office have been abandoned. The foreigners' have- taken refuge on a merchant steamer. A. British gunboat is proceeding to the scat of the disturbance.
