Tho Huia, from To Kopuni, via Wellington, arrived at 12.30 a.m. on Saturday with 130,000 feet of timber, and thc scow Ngaru arrived in the stream at 9.30 pin with a load of white pine and totara from Wellington for the Railway Department. The Huia made the run down from Wellington in just under 30 hours, and thc Ngaru took 38 hours to cover the same distance. The schooner Clyde arrived on Saturday afternoon with a full load of timber from Greymouth.
