SIR ALBERT SPICER'S OBSERVATIONS.

At a special meeting of members of Chambers of Commerce in London, Sir Albert Spicer reported that a very warm welcome had been given to the Imperial delegates by Australia. He considered the Australian methods of conciliation were more dras t'u than the British, and that the line cf demarcation was greater between capital and labour. He greatly regretted that the delegates had had no oj: pcrtunity of coming into closer touch with the Labour Party.
