WEATHER SUMMARY AND FORECAST.
The following ie the Rev. D. C. Batee's general weather summary and forecast: — The weather has been very warm and fine. The winds have been variable and moderate generally, but a southerly gale has prevailed at East Cape to-day. There has been little movement of the barometer, though the indications axe still for a fall everywhere shortly. The* weather will probably continue warm. Strong easterly winds are probable in the north, and increasing northerlies elsewhere. The present conditions are unstable and somewhat threatening to the westward.
