RANGIORA.
There was a good attendance at the Rangiora market yesterday. The stock entry was:—3ooo sheep, 100 cattle, and 90 pigs. Prices were:— Fat lambs 10s 6d to 12b 6d. fat wethers 13s to 14s 4d, fat ewes 9s 6d to 11s. forward four-tooth wethers 10s 6d to 12s lOd, two ond four-tooth store wethers 9s to 10s 3d. two-tooth wethers 8s to 9s 3d, four-tooth ewes and lambs (unshorn) 13s, aged ewes (unshorn) 8s to Ps. aged shorn ewes and lambs 5s 6d to 7s t>d, ewe hoggets (shorn) 11s 6d to 13s. Cattle—Fat steers £6 10s to £6 17s 60, fat cows £6 to £7 2s 6d, springers £5 to £8, two-year-old cattle £3 10s to £4 as, fifteen to ei"\ht«>nmonths cattle £2 10s to £3, vearlines £1 10s to £2 2s 6d, onlves ss'to 1.%. Pigs—Baconers 35s to 40s, porkers 9 -ts to 30s, stores 20s to 255, small nigs 9s to 15s. In the produce markets prices were: —Heavy crossbred sheepskins to 9s medium &., lighter 2s 10d, merino i*V nS '* ,od. Pelte Is lid, lambskins 2s Id calfskins 2s, hid*s 5Jd per lb, fat Ud wool fleeces IOJO, pieces 6d. Poultry-Roosters 6s jw pair, hens 3s 6d, ducks os 9d, geese 7s, turkeys 245, j chickwheat 3s 9d per bushel, oats Is Bd, pigmefll 10s 6d per sack, sharps 7s 6d, bran 4s, new potatoes Id per'lb, peas Is per peck.
