Hemp—The market is very quiet. New Zealand hemp. »;o«d fair grade on spot, £28 per ton, fair grade £i/, Manila fair current £27, January-March shipments, New Zealand rjood fair j127 10s fair £2(1, Manila £20. The output of Manila for the week was 10,000 bales.
Wheat and Oats—There is no change in the market for wheat and oats. (Last quotations were: New Zealand short-berried wheat .-9s, long-berried 39s <xl, sparrowbill oats 10s 9d, and Danish oats 175.) Beans —The market is firm, owing to the reduced supplies. Tho price of New Zealand beans, ■f.a.q., new crop, per 5041b. is 40s. p eas .—The market is firm, with a hardening tendency, and there is a general and active demand.
