OTAGO v. CANTERBURY.
(fbom oub own correspondent.) DUNEDIX, December 18. The Otago fcam to pley Canterbury at Christmas will probably consist of tho following:—Wordsworth McFarlane Hiddleston. Fisher, McCartney, Sied'eberc. Rutherford, Hopkins, Downes, Condliffe, and Wilson. The team will have two promising young bats in McFarlane and Hiddleston. Condhffe is wicketkeeper, and the cowling strength lies in McCartney, Downes, Fisher, and Wordsworth.
As W. Carlton -will be practising with the representative team in view of the Otaeo-Canterbury match, there will be no coaching next week for the district clubs.
