(PRESS ASSOCIATION TELEGEAMB.)
MASTERTON, December 17
William Burridge, brewer, Masterton, was charged at the Magistrate's Court this morning with selling liquor ■within a No-license area. The charge was made on the ground that though the liquor was sent from Carterton, outside a No-license area, it had been ordered in and paid for on delivery in Masterton, the driver having received instructions not to deliver without payment.
Counsel for the defence contended that the liquor was allotted to each person before it was sent from Carterton, and that the sale therefore took place there. The information was dismissed.
