EXHIBITION FIREWORKS' COMPANY.
A large number of picnics from North Canterbury visited Wainoni Park last week, end on Wednesday of , this week picnics from Rolleston, Weedons, and Domett, will spend a day in the park. Selections by Warner's Trio .will be given on Christmas Day, and on Christmas Sunday the Lyttelton Marine Band will gAny. The programme on Boxing Day will include a naval battle, fireworks' display, and the exciting scenes from the Maori war, which proved so popular during the Exhibition year.
A fireworks' display, including many novel features, will be given in Lancaster Park on Christmas night by the Exhibition Fireworks' Company. In addition to a large number of Bet pieces and 1 aerial fireworks the picture in fire of "The Nativity" will be shown. The Lyttelton Marine Band will be in attendance, -and will include several Christmas carols in their programme.
