i AWARD. J His Honour on Saturday gave judg- | nient- on the motion (argued the prei ■/lou; dayj to set aside an award in I the matter of a rererence to i arbitration entered into between I Edward Hiorns and Edmond Power, i regarding the renc of tne Masonic I Hotel.
i iiis Honour reviewed thi cireumj stances of the case, and decided that I the crder must be made setting the ,'uward tiiide. As the ua),iAr?'s good \ laith in the matter had not been imptigued in the slightest degree, there , »:»=. no reason why he should not act ,in the reference, one! an order was ■ made remitting the matter to him for ■ reconsideration. He would begin de iK'VO, and hear any evidence celled by ; il:e parties. The arbitrators having i could take no further pan ;in the proceedings. Each party was to ; ~>av its own costs.
Air Cassidy appeared in support of the motion, and Mr Stringer, K.C., with him Mr Bishop, for Hiorns.
