PROPOSED VISIT TO AUSTRALIA
United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. MELBOURNE, December 17. A deputation from the universities and scientific and medical institutions of Australia asked Mr Deakin to guarantee £10,000 towards the cost, of a visit of the British Association to Australia, either in 1913 or 1914.
Mr Deakin agreed to lay the matter before his colleagues, with a strong personal recommendation.
