ASHBURTON

Wheat— There is no alteration in the market. We have several small lines which have changed hands at last week's quotations, but those have scarcely been of sufficient magnitude to properly gauge market values. Nominal quotations are :—Tuscan and Pearl 4s 2<l, Hunters -fes to 4s l<l.

Oats —Offerings are very small, but sufficient for present demands. There has been a sligh*.!y better enquiry for good quality oats for feed purposes, and there is a prospect of a better demand in the near future. Present quotations are:—A grade Gartons and Canadians Is 8d to Is BJd, B grade Is 7j<l, Duns Is Gd to Is 7d,l>anish Is 5d to Is Gd.
