ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.
Tho very gratifying number of seats booked yesterday when the plan o,pened for the request concert of th© Orchestral Society, which takes place on Wednesday at the Theatre Royal, augurs well for the success of the scheme. Tho programmo of orchestral music is exceptionally attractive, and in addition Mr Farquhar Young, who has already scored a decided success as vocal soloist with the Musical Union, will give a couple of vocal numbers. Tho plan is now open at the Dresden, and is filling up rapidly.
