DENTIST'S HKGISTRATION REFUSED.
Mr Justice Sim, sitting as a Judge of the Sunrome Court yesterday, read the judgment of Mr Justice Denni-ton in of Frank Fryer against tho refusal of the Registrar-General to register'the appellant as a dentist under tho Act o"i 1880. The appellant had commenced his apprenticeship before the coming into force, but after the passing, of the 1904 Act, and had, alter serving four years, passed the'examination nrcscrioed by the Act of 1880. It was shown that the appellant had been informed of tlie provisions of the new Act before he entered his apprenticeship, and it was held that there was no legal reason why the appellant should be admitted to rcgistratiju as a dentist under the 1904 Act. Tho appeal was therefore dismissed, with costs Lo ss.
