ORCHESTRAL SOCIETY.
This morning, at 10 o'clock, tho plan, of reserved seats will open at tho Dresden for the request concert of the Christchurch Orchestral Society, which takes olace at tho Theatre Royal on Wednesday evening, under the conductorship of Mr A. Bunz. Tho programme of orchestral numbers, which has been selected by the committee from the requests sent in, is exceedingly attractive. Mr Farquhar Young will sinp Woodford-Finden's "Less than the Dust," and Needham's fine song, "The Queen of Connemara." The concert is given in aid of the library fund, the committee having gone to considerable expense in importing new mu_io from Home.
