Mr Ratau Tata, a millionaire of Bombay, has given Mr Ghandi, the Indian leader in the Transvaal, 25,000 rupees, to enable- him to continue the struggle against the Registration Act. NEW ZEALAND FRUIT EXHIBITS. (Received December 2nd, 9.30 p.m.) LONDON, December 2. At the Horticultural Society's Colonial Exhibition, the New Zealand Government was awarded silver Knightsian medals for fruits and preserves.
