CANTERBURY COLLEGE v. OTAGO UNIVERSITY.

The annual match between Canterbury College end Otago University was commenced at Hagley Park yesterday. A capital -wicket had . been provided, and the Otago captain's action.' in- puttine the opposition in was therefore inexplicable. Rutherford,: the Otago representative, was the best of the Otago bowlers. The fielding .was. decidedly good, and Slater Kept wickets capitally.
