(Received October oth, 11.55 p.m.) SYDNEY*, October 5. The wool sales were resumed to-day. There a big attendance, brisk b dding, and a firm market, trices wer* fully «qual to the best rat-es of last sales. GRAIN AND PRODUCE MARKETS. (ST OUH COMMERCIAL EDITOR.) Tuesday Evening. There is a little more enquiry for wheat, but offerings are scarce. Any lines coming forward can be disposed of at quotations. A lino of 1000 bushels of Tuscan has changed hands at 4s 3d, at a country station, and some second sales have also been made. The market for onts is very quiet and sales are difficult to effect. A line of 1800 bushels of good Duns has been taken at Is sd, at a country station. Potatoes are still dull of sale, as the Northern market is being well supplied from the South. The undermentioned are the prices paid to farmers at country stations, free of commission, except where otherwise stated:— Wheat—Milling, 4s 2d to 4s 3d, broken wheat 3a 3d to 3s 6d, at country stations. Oats (nominal)—A Gartons Is $d to Is 7Jd, B Gartons Is 6d to Is 7d, Duns Is od to Is 6d, atcountry stations. Sarley—Melting nominal, 2s 9d to 3s 3d, feed Is 9d to 2«>, at country stations.
Ryegrass —Nominal, 2s to 2s 3d, Italian 2s to 2s 3d, at country stations.
Cocksfoot—l3lb to 141b 4Jd, 121b to 12ilb seed 4d to 4Jd, at country stations.
Cowgrass—6d to 6Jd, at country stations.
White Clover—6d to 7d, at country stations.
Flour—£lo 10s per ton. Bran.—£3 oe, local £3 f.0.b., per ton.
Pollard—£4 per ton. Oatmeal—£lo 10s per ton. Oatsheaf Chaff—Nominal, 35s to £2, at country stations.
Potatoesr—£3 to £3 2s 6d for Derwents, £2 5s to £2 10s for Up-to-Dates. £3 10s for early varieties of seed, and £3 for seed Up-to-Dates, at country stations.
Peas—Partridge 3e 8d to 3s 9d, Blue Imperials 4s 6d, Blue Prussians 3s 9d to 4s.
Dairy Produce—Cheese, factory 5Jd, dairy sd', loaf cheese 6Jd; butter, factory 12d, farmers' separator 9d, dairy 8d; baoon, sides 72d, rolls Bd,- hams, 8d; honey, extracted 4d per lb; -vrax Is 2d per lb; lard (packets),Bd; fresh eggs, 10d per dozen.
