Viennese and Berlin newspapers give prominence to a speech by Prince Ludwig, eon of the Prince Regent of Bavaria, during the unveiling of a monument to the memory of those who fell in the battle of Helmstadt in 18G6. Prince Ludwig advised Germans in Austria to -unite in maintaining their position at home, and not commit high treason by sending longing looks across the frontier.
The speech is considered a warning to the Pan-Germans that their propaganda may damage the solidity of the Aostro-German alliance.
