GENERAL HUTTON'S CANDIDATURE.
LONDON, October 4. General Sir Edward Hutton, lato Cemmander-in-Chief of tho Australian Forces, has resigned his Conservative candidature for Portsmouth, with a view to facilitatins the fusion of the Opposition parties in the borough.
