ENGLISH AMATEUR CHAMPIONSHIPS. United Press Association—By Electric Telegraph—Copyright. LONDON, July 4. Webb was first, and Rowland (a New Zealander) second, in the two-mile walk amateur championship at Stamford Bridge.
In a twenty-four hours' cycling race at tho Stadium, Shepherd's Bush, Bishop, a Londoner, was the winner. The distance was 513 miles 1430 yards.
