SCHOOL COMMITTEES.
The last monthly meeting of the Addington School Committee was attended by Mr R. Ellison (chairman), and Messrs Burns, Down, Gourlay, McCracken, Paterson, Spiller, and Woodfield. The Board wrote appointing Mr A. R. Blank second assistant master; also forwarding names of applicants for the position of assistant infant mistress, for which Miss Sloeonibo was recommended to the Board. Messrs ElLison, Gonrlay, and S,yril!er were elected delegates to the School Committees' Association. A consignment of new dummy rifles, belts, and haversacks was received for the cadets, to replace those destroyed by the lato fire.
