DEPUTATION TO HON. G. FOWLDS.
» A deputation of Hawarden residents, headed by Messrs O. F. Clothier, A. Beavan, J. W. "Weld, and others, were introduced.,,to . 4hau Hon.; CLuFowids, Minister of Education, at the Hawarden Show yesterday by Air G. W. Forbes, M.P. They urged tlie necessity for an improved bcßool more convenient to the district than those existing. The Hon. Mr Fowlds said he understood the matter had been placed before the Board of Education, and its members were taking an injereet in the subject. He oonKJ not interfere with -what action the Board might take, except in an extreme case; but he would make a note of ihe desires of tho deputation.
