ROYAL WELSH MALE CHOIR.
A very largo audience greeted th« re-appsaranco of the Royal Welsh Male Choir at the Opera House last night. That this combination, the strongest company of male singers that has visited the Dominion, has found many warm nppreciators in Christchurch was shown, by the hearty applause that followed each item, and tie numerous recalls demanded. Tho programme submitted was a varied one, though in view of the fact that it was St. Patricks night, prominence was given to Irish items. The soloists were very successful, and the concerted numbers were excellently given, and mush appreciated. An especial feature of the performance was the 'Hallelujah Chorus given by the full choir, with remarkable effectiveness.
