Tho annual meeting of. the Duvauctelle Defence Rifle Club was held on March 13tU, there being a small attendance. Th-o bal-ance-sheet Bhowod a credit of £13. Tho officers for th« yca-r elected were:—Patron, Mr W. Montgomery; president. Mr R. Heaton Rhccre*. M..P.; vice-presidents, Dr. Thackcr, MessTS H. D. Buchanan, J as. Hay, E. E. Lelievr-e, John PcttisTew, W. B. "Clarksoc, J. Durbury. James Pettigrew, F. Wright; captain, Mr H. W. Piper; vicocaptair.. Mr J. Mould; secretary, Mr T. Barwick; treasurer, Mr J. Chatfield; storeskeerer, Mr- A. R. Pritchard; committee, Messrs J. Duxbury, R. Pettigxow, G. Mould, J. Chatfield, T. Wilkin*; handioappers, Messrs Piper, Mould, and Pottigrew. Tho annual prize firing was fired for March 25th and April Ist, details being- left in tho hands of the committee.
