Tho fortnightly snlo at the Temuka yards Mas held yesterday afternoon Ihe yarding was principally mad 4up ol sheep, (000 being penned, which included some fine lines of breeding ewes from North Otago. "For fat sheep there was only a moderate demand at buyers' prices, and stores were very dull of sale indeed, only a few lines changinj; hands. Tho following sales were recorded :—Fat owes at lls 3d, Us 6d lls 7d, lls lid, and 12s, fat lambs at 13s 4d, 13a Bd, 13s o<l. and I4s 10d, storo lambs at Os 6d, 10s, 9s 7d and up to lls, forward lambs (good) 12s 6il, 12s od, 12s 7d, and 12b yd, ewes, four, six and eight-tooth at 12s 0d to 13s Bd, two-tooths at loe 7d and l&s 3d, full-mouth ewes 7s Id. Sα txl, and lls 6d. Cattle—The yarding -was a very small one, and there ivero no buyers to speak of. Tho few lines sold were- as follows—Fat steers £G 15s £7 10s, fat heifers £6 ss, £6 12s Cd, fat oows £3 15s, £4 15s, springing cows and heifers £3 to £o 10s, cows in profit £2 10s to £0 os.
