WANGANUI, March 3. Fine weatlier was again experienced this morning, when the final gallops were registered. Parable slipped over six furlongs in lrnin 19sec. her stable mate, Moriarty, knocking three seconds off that time. '.Exmoor, lauini and Wiramera jumped the hurdles separately, all shaping very well. St. Aidan and Sir Tristram ga.loped six furlongs in lmin 18sec. Moata, Don Carlos and Mikotahi ran a mile in lmin 50j3ec, the lastnamed being in front. All Red and Blue Ribbon were associated in a mile gaKop, which was cut out in lmin 47sec, the former showing to moat advantage. Waihuka ran six furlongs in lmin ITaec, and Downfall a mile nicely in lmin 47sec. Apa went twice round at a strong pace on the plough, and looks particularly well. Tangimoana, Taitoko", Roosevelt, Master Delaval and Advocate did serviceable work. All the acceptors aro expected to start in the Cup. which, it is ant.cipatod, will be a splendid race. The watering of the course has improved it greatly, and the going should bo fast. A large number of v lS itors are arriving from all parts.
