TINWALD SALE.
The weekly, sale at the Tinw-ald yards yesterday was largely attended 1 , and tho entry of all classes of stock 1 was the largest that has been brought forward for some considerable timo past. Tho total entry comoriscd 423 fat ewes, 2-18 butchers' lambs, 178 fat wethers, 2481 freezing sheep and lambs, 50 pigs, 17 fat cattle, 20 store cattlo, und 14,500 mixed classes of store slieop. Fat sheep sold l freely 1 , but as compared with prices obtained at tho last weekly sale there was a -drop of at loast is per head. Tho failing feed supply has no doubt induced: farmers to accept slightly lower values, rather than keep surplus stock on hand. Freezing lambs commanded keener competition, but the prices offered fell short of tho expectations of vendors, the top price obtained 1 being 14s 3d. The entry of store sheep was a very mixed one, and a number of the lines were evidently from poor country.
