KAIAPOI LICENSING COMMITTEE.
TO THE EDITOR OF "THE PRESS." I Sir,—A paragraph in your columns I states, it is intended to liold an election. I think the parties interested I could .select five men or leave the whole ' question of tho licenses to the Stipendiary Magistrate. A poll will cost nearly £100, and that amount will be deducted from the fees paid by the licensed hotels to tho local bodies.—Yours, etc., IN lON. i Rangiora, February 21th.
