At Ashburton on Saturday Messrs Friedlander Bros, offered at public anction. on behalf of the Ashburtm Borough Council, the leases of Riverbed Reserve, part 1923, P.*> _*k street, for _ terms of five years. No. 1, containing 6_ acres, was let to Fletcher Bros., at £13 IQj per annum; No. 2, containing 3_ acres, to the New Zealand Formers Co-operative Association, at £12 per annum; and No. 3, also containing 3_ acres, to the Rev. Dean CDonnell, at £8 5s per annum.
