WESTPORT, January 25.

Most unseasonable weather is being experienced here, heavy rain having fallen for a week.

Part of tho slip on Conn's Creek branch colliery railway was cleared off in time for traffic this morning. There is a very heavy flood in the Bulkr river, and tho Arahura, from .Vellington nnd Nelson, was detained ia tho roadstead.

REEFTON, January 25. Another flood in the river resulted m the washing away of another shoe of ground from Rosstown. Last night's fresh broko off the ground eight feet inside private fences, whilst sections belonging to tho Justice Department w , ere . a lso. seriously threatened, besides the Anglican vicarage and other properties. *

NELSON, January 25. A heavy sea yesterday morning smashed the timbering at tho marine baths on one side, and rising within the structure, partially wrecked .brother wall. Last night's gale and _oa paraoticaily demolished, the structure Which is a very oW one. Heavy rain is falling and all the rivers arc flooded.

GREYMOUTH, January 23 Consequent upon tho heavy ruin that has fallen since Saturday, all the West Coast rivers are Tunning bank to bank Communication is interrupted with Westport and the Otira. It was hoped to cross tho latter river to-night. The overland passengers (about thirty in rumber) are spending the night at the rSealoy. _*
