THEATRE ROYAL. THE KILTIES BAND.

Monday evening will sec the first e.p- - pearance of the Kilties Band at. tho Opera House. The band has won ' great popularity -wherever it haa aj> ■* pea rod, and its programmes are universally spoken of as being musically ■excellent. As already stated, tbe programmes are cosmopolitan. Though the Kilties weai* tho garb, of Old'Gaul, they do not confine their mueio, to that of Scotland. They are equally proficient in that of England and Ireland, a fact which lends variety . to their performances. Vocal items form; part of the programme, tho band \ furnishing a choir of some twenty singcre, and there is also a very clever-„-dancing troune, tho Clan.
