SENIOR CHAMPIONSHIP.

WEST CHRISTCHURCH v. SYDENHAM. Considerable interest was manifested in this game, as Sydenham were in a strong position, having scored 314 to 9 for one wicket to West. The latter resumed batting, but as the cracks went early, the side never looked liko making tho runs, and, notwithstanding a good innings by Weston for 61 and a hard hit 3J by Vernon, tho innings closed for 196.
