CHARGE OF CARGO BROACHING.
■- ;—* (PUSS ASSOCXATIOJf TEX-RHAM). WELLINGTON, September 25. Five wharf labourers were arrested yesterday on a charge of broaching cargo from the steamer Rippingham Grange. One member of the crew, an apprentice, was also arrested, and his evidence given to-day boro out his own confession to the officers implicating himself and the labourers. After a partial hearing, the case was adjourned till September 30th. The apprentice, Alphonse Doyle, .was fined £3.
