They will bo disqualified it they aro receiving poor, rouef, if they are insane or prisoners, or if they habitually retrain from work. Ail applicant falls in his form at the 'local Pest U_ico, and sends it to tho local excise officer. Whatever objections ho raises aro to be investigated by the local committee, whose duty is to help tiro applicant to lodgo a genuine claim. If tho person's yearly income is not over £21, tho pension will be os a week; if the income is under lC'2'3 12s Gd, tho pension will be 4s; £-0 os, pension 3s; £28 17s 6d, pension 2&; £31 10s, pension Is. There is no pension above £31 10s.
