HOCKEY.
The final game for the championship of South Canterbury was played in Geraldino between teams representing Temuka and Geraldine A. These teams had tied, and great interest , was taken in the match. After. a hardfought gamo,' Geraldino won by one goal, shot by M, Sutherland, to nil, thus winning the competition. This club has been most successful, having played 6 games, winning 5 and losing 1, goals scored for 28, against 3. Temuka were runners-np with 4 wins and 2 losses." i
