THE TALISMAN MINE. (SP—..A-. to •the rnfiss.") WELLINGTON, September 21. . The Wellington local coninnttoo of the Talisman mine has received information from Mr StansfieMthat Mi Bigelow's plans and estimates w for the now pumping plant were cabled to London for tho Board's approval on Saturday. On that day the water had reached within two feet of where tho pumps are ready to commence working No. 12 level. The last piece of information is regarded as most favourable, as the water had not risen two feet per day since the previous Sunday. Directly tho plans for the new pumping plant havo been approved by tho London Board the committee will be able to furnish full details through the Press to shareholders.
